Belonging to a Tamil Brahmin family I was exposed to Indian Classical music, both hindustani as well as carnatic right from my mother's womb. Learning the Tabla at a tender age of 7 years, was the beginning of my journey into the world of music. As I approached my teens, I was fascinated by the guitar and there has been no looking back ever since. Delving into the world of Rock Music and Fusion Music I love to blend both styles always looking for that unique sound that identifies with my interpretations.
I have been a part of the independent music industry past 3 decades and have been a founder for various rock bands in the past and continue to tour with my current rock bands as well as my fusion projects.
Apart from curating and producing live performances, I have also been actively involved in studio sessions, producing music, be it my own albums or advertising jingles, mnemonics, composing and arranging background scores and title songs.
Parallely I have also been an educator as a guitar tutor past 3 decades and continue to give lessons online.
